About the project
The site is for a buyer choosing headphones for commuting and for working in noise. Instead of describing silence, the site shows it.
The aim was to turn one product feature into the behaviour of the page. The first screen is loud: digital noise and a decibel counter. As you scroll, the noise fades and the counter drops from 78 to 31 dB.
The result is a site in seven scenes: cancellation, the inside, sound, battery, colours and a pre-order form.

Details
A page that goes quiet
Digital noise fades as you scroll, and the decibel counter shows the difference.
A custom 3D model
The headphones assemble as you scroll, from frames rendered from a custom 3D model, with no photos or third-party models.
Three listening modes
A switch shows the difference between cancellation, transparency and off.
Colour carried into the order
The finish is chosen on the page and the same choice goes into the pre-order form.
